I recently completed the coursework and examination to become a CEPA. What's a CEPA?A CEPA is a Certified Exit Planning AdvisorAs a CEPA I'm equipped to:- Help business grow their value through key metrics - good exit planning is just good business strategy! We use the Four C's (see attached) as four areas to focus on value creation for the business. - Discuss and prepare options for sale of the business - is it internal or external? Timing? Target valuation? Owner Readiness? Attractiveness?- Work through the personal financial planning of the owner's family to ensure a successful lifestyle and legacy post sale- Discuss the life plan for the business owner post exit - what do you do with all your time?!Do you know what your business is worth? Do you know what it COULD be worth if it was operating under best in class metrics (KPI's)?
