Our skill-building group activity sessions in Brisbane are designed to alleviate these pressures and provide meaningful guidance.Why Join?Our sessions are crafted to support participants in discovering interests, learning life skills, and building confidence in independent tasks, ultimately reducing reliance on caregivers.Session StructureCasual Sessions: Stand-alone classes focusing on fun activities and life skill discussions. Perfect for those who prefer flexibility.Project Sessions: Four-week commitments where participants collaborate on a shared experience or outcome, fostering teamwork and long-term relationships.This Months Project is 'Project Ekka'. This exciting project involves planning and executing a visit to the EKKA. Participants will engage in setting expectations, organising the day, budgeting, and more. The final day, August 16th, will be a full-day outing to the EKKA, offering a fantastic opportunity to apply learned skills in a fun environment.Additional Support Options: We provide support workers and transport assistance upon request. YOURCARE HQ is fully accessible, equipped with disability bathrooms, and conveniently located near Roma Street Station. Our team are all trained in complex care and we also have nurses on siteFunding & NDIS Goals: Our program aligns with NDIS goals, ensuring that activities support participants in achieving their specific objectives.
